Privacy policy

HangPlanner is run solo and we collect the minimum needed to make the tool work. No sale of data, no ad networks, no behavioural tracking. If you have questions, email hello@hangplanner.com.

What we store

• If you don't sign in: nothing on our servers. The Demo wall lives in your browser's IndexedDB. Clear browser data → it's gone.
• If you sign in (email or Google): we store your email + the walls / frames / furniture / snapshots you create, on Supabase (PostgreSQL, hosted in Oregon, USA).
• Uploaded images: frame photos + wall background photos go to Supabase Storage, scoped to your user ID. We only let you upload under your own folder.
• Stripe (when you pay): billing details (last 4 digits of card, billing name + address) stay with Stripe. We only store the subscription status + the plan tier.

What we don't do

• No third-party advertising trackers (no Google Analytics, no FB Pixel).
• No selling of email lists or any aggregated user data.
• No emailing you marketing unless you explicitly opt in.

Cookies

Only essential cookies — auth session token (HttpOnly, set by Supabase) and a "you've dismissed the sign-up CTA" flag. No analytics or tracking cookies.

Deleting your data

Email hello@hangplanner.com from the address you signed up with and ask for deletion. We delete your profile + walls + uploaded images within 7 days and reply to confirm. Self-serve delete from inside the app is on the roadmap for v0.10.

Children

HangPlanner is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete the account.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the date at the top of this page when material changes happen. If you have a Plus / Pro subscription we'll email you on material changes.
